Account Information:

Name and email address when you create an account
Encrypted password (we never store passwords in plain text)
Plan and subscription status

Campaign & CRM Data:

Creator contact information you enter (names, handles, emails)
Campaign details, deal stages, gifting records, payment notes
Content URLs, approval notes, ROI data
AI-generated content you create using our tools

Technical Information:

IP address and browser type for security purposes
Usage data to improve the product
Cookies for session authentication

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Micro Deal Room platform
To authenticate your account and maintain your session
To process subscription payments via Stripe
To generate AI-assisted content using OpenAI on your behalf
To send transactional emails (password resets, billing confirmations)
To improve product features and fix bugs
To comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

Stripe

OpenAI

Used to generate AI outreach messages and campaign briefs when you use our AI Tools. Input data is sent to OpenAI's API and is subject to OpenAI's usage policies. We do not share personally identifiable information of third parties with OpenAI.

Railway / PostgreSQL

Our infrastructure and database are hosted on Railway. Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Bcrypt password hashing (minimum 12 rounds)
HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
Encrypted database connections
JWT-based session management with secure secrets
All data queries are scoped to authenticated user accounts

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

Your influencer CRM data, campaigns, deals and briefs are permanently deleted
Stripe maintains billing records as required by law
We may retain anonymised, aggregated data for analytics

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Right to access your personal data
Right to correct inaccurate data
Right to delete your account and associated data
Right to export your data (CSV export is available in the Reports section)
Right to object to certain data processing

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking cookies. Blocking cookies will prevent you from using the authenticated dashboard.

9. Children's Privacy

Micro Deal Room is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
